  • Wayne, NJ 10/23/2020 Fall at Packanack Lake. A bench at the north end of Packanack Lake collects leaves as autumn peaks and trees start to thin. Colorful leaves amid a black and white background are the result of manipulation through Photoshop. © Peter Monsees

  • Jefferson Twsp. NJ. (Newfoundland) 10/28/2021. Old Train Station The exterior of the Newfoundland Railroad Station, in Jefferson Township. The photo was altered by removing most contemporary surroundings in an effort to return the station to what it may have looked like years ago. The station was built by the NJ Midland Railway in 1872 and later served passengers on the NY, Susquehanna, and Western Railroad. © Peter Monsees

  • University Park, FL. 06/03/2020 Stop Sign for Illustration. Stop sign for STOP RACISM. I've walked by this stop sign hundreds of times, on daily walks, and never saw a potential for an illustration of any kind. I missed blackout tuesday and thought this little old stop sign could help with my own subtle message to address the chaos caused by this racial injustice. The sign was photographed, WITHOUT any writing, and worked on in Photoshop where it was then sent to Linda's I-Pad where she literally lent a hand and penned in "racism". It was then sent back to me for final tweaks before loading to Instagram. I assure you this sign was not injured in any way during production. © Peter Monsees

  • University Park, FL. 05-25-2021. Full (Flower) Moon. The full moon of May, aka the Flower Moon, is photographed as a composite image over Cooper Creek Blvd., near Savannah Preserve. The moon originally rose to the right of the border trees. Through Photoshop, and lots of trail and error, it was moved to where it would complement the blurred taillights and street lamp. © Peter Monsees

  • University Park FL. 06/12/2020 Leaves of Plants. Leaves from a Sanchezia plant, commonly found around the courtyards at Savannah Preserve, are placed on top of each other, as the white veins stand out against the green colored leaves, creating a design of texture and balance. The "red" leaf was an afterthought, used to break up the sea of green, and done in Photoshop. © Peter Monsees
